Job Description

New Position – 215 Work Days Starting Salary: $75,000 Primary PurposeProvide leadership, coordination, and management for the Autism Innovation Grant to ensure effective implementation of evidence-based practices, alignment of professional learning, and measurable improvement in student outcomes for students with autism. This role supports campuses, staff, and partner organizations in building sustainable systems that increase student access, engagement, and independence.This position focuses on coordination, alignment, and monitoring of systems; direct service and primary delivery of training are shared responsibilities across campuses and partners. QualificationsEducation/CertificationMaster’s degree in Special Education or related fieldValid Texas teaching certificate in Special EducationCampus leadership/ teacher coaching experience preferredSpecial Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of evidence-based practices for students with autismKnowledge of IDEA, state special education rules, and compliance requirementsExperience with coaching, professional development, and adult learningStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to design, implement, and monitor systems across multiple campusesStrong communication, organization, and collaboration skillsExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in special educationExperience supporting students with autism preferredExperience in instructional coaching, program coordination, or leadership preferred
