Provide therapeutic intervention to maximize physical or mental functioning, increase independent functioning, and/or adjust to disabilities.QualificationsEducation/CertificationMaster’s degree in occupational therapy or related programValid Texas license as an occupational therapist granted by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE)Special Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of rehabilitation procedures, activities, and equipment used in occupational therapyAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsRequirementsRegular attendance at the job site is an essential job function.ExperienceSix months experience as an occupational therapist
