| Assist students with disabilities according to their needs. Keep teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students. Assist classroom teachers with monitoring student behavior. Assist classroom teachers with instructions. Recognize differences in each student’s special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs and adapt methods and interaction accordingly. Help supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned. Willingness to accept change in schedule. Perform other duties as assigned by principal, including lunch, before and after school duty. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. All staff must download and utilize the school safety alert app on their personal phone. |
