Lexington has a population of 1,217 and is located in North Central Lee County, 55 minutes from both College Station and Austin. Community members support our schools and take pride in our traditions and small town values. Lexington ISD encompasses 292 square miles of beautiful Texas ranch land and includes three campuses: Lexington Elementary (EE-5th), Lexington Middle School (6th-8th), and Lexington High School (9th-12th). Lexington ISD provides strong academic, fine arts, and athletic programs and offers students memberships to diverse clubs and organizations. With a strong agricultural background, LISD offers a robust FFA program and a variety of Career and Technical Education Pathways.
