Coordinator – Bluebonnet Math Implementation

Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Manor ISD is seeking an experienced and highly organized Blue Bonnet Math Implementation Coordinator to lead and manage the district-wide rollout of the Texas Education Agency’s Blue Bonnet Math curriculum for grades K-8 and Algebra I. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the implementation process, ensuring fidelity, effectiveness, and alignment with district goals. The coordinator will serve as the primary liaison with ESC Region 13, manage the Strong Foundations Implementation Grant, and collaborate with campus and district leaders to support high-quality mathematics instruction across the district.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field (required)
    • Valid Texas educator certification (required)

  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably in mathematics
    • Demonstrated success in leading instructional initiatives or programs
    • Experience managing grants and/or curriculum implementation (preferred)

  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Deep understanding of math instruction, curriculum design, and state standards
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and facilitation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with a wide audience

Essential Job Functions:

  • Implementation Management:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Blue Bonnet Math curriculum implementation across Manor ISD.
    • Ensure all components of the Texas Education Agency’s Blue Bonnet Math program are delivered with fidelity, aligned to state standards and district goals.
    • Manage and maintain implementation timelines, deliverables, and documentation.

  • Grant Oversight:
    • Oversee the administration and compliance of the Strong Foundations Implementation Grant, including budget management, reporting, and alignment with grant requirements.
    • Collaborate with district leadership and finance teams to ensure strategic use of grant funds.

 

  • Professional Learning & Support:
    • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for teachers, instructional coaches, and campus leaders in partnership with ESC Region 13.
    • Organize ongoing support structures such as PLCs, coaching cycles, and model lessons to build instructional capacity.

  • Collaboration & Coaching:
    • Partner with instructional coaches, master teachers, and campus leadership to support implementation at the classroom level.
    • Provide job-embedded support and feedback to ensure instructional consistency and excellence in math teaching practices.

  • Assessment Coordination:
    • Manage all required assessments tied to the Blue Bonnet Math curriculum, including scheduling, data analysis, and reporting.
    • Use assessment data to inform district-wide instructional decisions and identify areas for targeted support.

  • Communication & Reporting:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between Manor ISD, TEA, and ESC Region 13 regarding all aspects of the Blue Bonnet Math initiative.
    • Provide regular updates to district leadership on implementation progress, student performance, and professional development impact.
