Job Description
Campus Registrar We are looking for a staff member to join our close-knit team at Lago Vista High School – one of the most sought after locations in the Texas Hill Country. The Registrar will oversee the processing, safekeeping, and disposition of student records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and District policies and procedures. Skills: Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Confidentiality Proficient with student information systems (SIS), databases, spreadsheets, and word processing Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing High accuracy in data entry and record keeping Essential Functions: Develops and implements comprehensive student records systems as appropriate Coordinates student records management Field inquiries received in person, via telephone, or email by providing information to basic questions Provide general clerical support including word processing, creating spreadsheets, and filing Typical Duties & Responsibilities: Answer phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing accurate and consistent information and creating a positive image of the campus and district. Greet visitors to the school in a pleasant and informed manner. Forward requests for information and messages to the appropriate individuals. Coordinate grade reporting process, including verification and correction of grades and preparation and distribution of report cards. Assist with honor roll preparation. Assist counselors with the enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer of students. Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records and other documents as required. Maintain confidentiality. Perform other clerical tasks as assigned including word processing, and entering requisitions Be a team player and willing to wear many hats Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
